Plant for rejuvenating and softening the skin

Medicinal herbs that can rejuvenate the skin of the face

Medicinal plants are present in many cosmetics that can be purchased in stores, but in this case they do not retain their beneficial properties for a long time. Because of this, creams and masks purchased after some time become less effective than they were at the time of purchase. You can also use medicinal herbs for the skin of the face in their natural form, preparing decoctions, infusions and masks from them at home.

Dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in antiaging procedures. The plant also helps with dermatological problems, with its help you can get rid of spots and whiten the skin of the face. The plant contains rubber, vitamins of groups A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation are those that use masks and cosmetic ice made from dandelions.

  1. Anti-aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take dandelion juice in an amount of 5 ml, 1 avocado, 5 grams of starch. You need to mash the avocado and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass is applied to a previously boiled face, left for 30 minutes and then rinsed with cold water. The mask can be applied to the face 2 times a week. After a few uses, deep and small wrinkles on the skin are visibly softened and the facial structure becomes more elastic.
  2. Cosmetic ice. To prepare this product you need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All the ingredients must be mixed together, poured into molds and placed in the refrigerator. You need to wipe your face with the finished cube, it is advisable to do this in the evening; the skin of the face must first be cleansed of makeup. The procedure should be performed in sessions of 10 days and the course of treatment should not exceed 3 times a year.

Rosemary

Rosemary can easily replace any lifting agent, as it contains the protein HSP70, which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements that can heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Rosemary is most often used in the form of an essential oil, which can be purchased at most beauty and drug stores. To prepare cosmetics at home, you will have to grow the plant yourself, since in its natural form it very rarely ends up on the shelves of stores and pharmacies.

  1. Rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, you need to tear half a banana, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and rosemary infusion or decoction. The amount of decoction or infusion should be calculated, taking into account that the finished mask should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic and wrinkles soften.
  2. decoction. To prepare the decoction, you need to take 20 grams of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and put it in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. The finished decoction must be strained before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Infusion. The product is prepared from 50 grams of plant leaves, which must be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or wrap the container with the infusion in something warm. After the specified period, the infusion must be filtered.

Important!Decoctions and infusions of rosemary can also be used in the form of compresses or made into cosmetic ice.

camomile

Chamomile contains many vitamins, trace elements and organic acids that are valuable for the body. All this together helps to rejuvenate, hydrate and whiten the skin, making it stronger and more elastic. In cosmetology, the most effective results can be achieved using decoctions and infusions of chamomile.

  1. decoction. To prepare the product, you need to pour dry chamomile flowers - 25 grams with a glass of warm boiled water and put it in a water bath for half an hour. The finished soup must be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. The product should be applied to the face and décolletage area. After use, wrinkles on the face are visibly reduced and softened.
  2. Infusion. To prepare chamomile infusion, pour a tablespoon of the dried and crushed plant into a glass of boiling water and leave it for half an hour. The finished product must be filtered and, as in the previous recipe, wiped over the skin of the face.

sage

Using sage for cosmetic purposes will help to clean the skin of your face and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion for the face. The finished infusion of sage can be used as an addition to lotion or tonic, and can also be used in the form of face compresses and creams. To prepare an infusion of sage, you need to pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw materials with a glass of boiling water and leave in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, strained, refrigerated and used as needed. From this infusion you can make cosmetic cubes - pour them into molds and put them in the refrigerator and wipe your face with them in the morning and in the evening.
  2. decoction. A decoction of sage effectively affects the skin of the face, rejuvenating and toning it. To prepare it, pour boiling water over three tablespoons of sage and cook on low heat for another 15 minutes. The resulting product should be cooled, filtered and washed with it once a day.
